What does this poem mean? what are they talking about? Poetic Devices! I NEED HELP?
The skiers dwindle up out of the valley.
The deft winds skim the snow and with a sudden shift of temper snarls and snaps at the puffy twigs spilling their whitness on the blue-white drifts in pattern pencil blue.
The long pines lean into the sky.
Chalk-blue the blank sky stares.
Anthracite hill is blazing white on Tunnel's further flank and Cascade blazing keen into the sky, and white spume curls, clenches the green-blue Bow, the milk green, solid sliding, weltered Bow.
Savage hauteurs, exepting cyclic Time as but the living of a frozen Eye.
This is a poem that is describing everything, i can see how you need help. It is describing the place where they are. Someone in the mountains or such is describing how the feel, or how it looks. A person who is watching skiers, notices the cold wind the majestic trees and mountains. The poet thinks that time has stopped.
