in photoshop?
OK, so my soccer team is designing t-shirts
and on the back of mine I am using the Bend it Like Beckham movie poster.
But I am trying to edit my face in a Kiera Knightly's face..
How do I do this?
Using a layer mask will be the best way for you to do that.
if the movie poster is the background layer, add the photo with your face on a layer above it. Try to line up your face with hers (matching nose with nose, eyes with eyes, etc). With that layer selected, go to the "Layer" menu and choose "Add Layer Mask" then "Hide All". The photo of you will "disappear", that is ok.
Next you will need to change your foreground color to white and grab the paintbrush. Paint with white over Kiera's face and your face will magically appear. Everywhere that you paint white on that layer mask will let your photo "shine" through. Enjoy!
