Probation question?
are you allowed to go to a paintball field place and play if your on probation. Really long story short i was blamed for something younger kids did and got a year probation and i go paintballing all the time and love it i have a customized jersey and everything but are you allowed to go play on probation and dotn say ask your officer because i would rather try on here first thanks
Yes, look at your probation order (you did get one in court, right?). Are there any special conditions banning you from minors, paintball courts, etc.? Are you on probation for a sex offense or a violent crime? If so, then you should stay away. Something a little less scary, say drug charge? Then probably not a big deal. The only issue I forsee is if somebody considers a paintball gun to be a "weapon". Weapons are banned for most probationers. I disagree with the person who said not to ask your PO. Why not? If he/she says no, then oh well, give up paint ball for the term of your probation. Ask again in 6 months. Remember, ignorance of the law isn't permission. If you don't ask, and it is against your probation, you'll be held responsible. "I didn't know" isn't going to cut it. Don't want to ask your PO, then call your lawyer. That's why you paid him/her.
